Alvaro MAGALHAES

In 1982 Alvaro Magalhães joined Benfica Lissabon, where he played 9 seasons without interruption. Magalhães was also a member of the Portughese National Team. He ended his career at the end of the season 1992/93 in Estrela and started a new career as manager.
He managed teams like Benfica, Guimares, Santa Clara, Tondela, Gil Vicente and Farense of the Portughese 1st Division. Last week during our latest conversation Magalhães and his team declared their readiness to work also abroad. I hope to see this valuable team in Turkey in the future.
